Students: IF you are reading this, then I know you are doing your homework. After all the salt dough maps were nestled all snug on the white rug, I had a happy thought...our Salt Dough Remains on the carpet look like a snow white blizzard:) "Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow." I allowed this winter wonderland sight to remain until 6:00 p.m. and then...

Dear Parents, Guardians and Students,
We will be making our salt dough maps of Utah's Three Regions.
I found this simple recipe. The Students wrote it on an index card to take home and try. My hope is that it will be easy enough for your child to make and have to school by Tuesday, December 5, 2017.
SALT AND FLOUR MAPS Printed from COOKS.COM
Mix:
2 cups flour,
1 cup salt
3/4 cup water
Add a little water at a time. This should make a very thick dough.
Add more flour if needed. Store in a sealed container or ziploc bag.
Bring to school on Tuesday.
We will be learning about a variety of winter holidays through Advent. Encourage your child to share some of the information with you.
Good News:
The student math book and resources are up and running. You may utilize extra helps from home.
