The Last Week of October was full of Tricks and Treats
Tricks:
Monday k-4th grade were locked out of the Elementary Building and it was the end of Term 1.
Tuesday the Teacher tried to educate unrecognizeable students (due to costumes) while dressed as the Mad Hatter, Trick or Treating was on a school night and a flood of missing work filled the turn in box.
Wednesday, the Teacher slept in and students came to school tired and groggy until snack time when it was sugar overlaoad :) and double back to back rotations in preparation for Culture Night
Thursday was the last day of the week for the students, but it was not a short day and the flood of work still needed to be corrected and recorded and we were on assembly schedule. Students practiced Tanner Dance in a small classroom.
Friday was a faculty meeting and grades needed to be locked by 4:00 p.m.
Treats:
*Students shared the books they had written for "Dress Like a Book Character" Day
*Fantabulous parents planned, participated and donated to a FANTASTIC FALL FEST
*Students were so well-behaved for the party...it was heart-warming
*Haunted Theatre was well done and the students enjoyed it
*A preview of the School Play
*Students finally WALKED the PLANK to GRADUATE from College Week
*A Fresh Start with Term 2 !
